There is a difference in batteries, and ours are exclusively designed to work with backup systems and provide better performance, longer life, and decreased maintenance than marine or car batteries. Gel batteries are preferred, as they require no maintenance and have a greater life expectancy. Used in conjunction with our PRO2400 battery backup systems, these units can provide up to 21 hours of constant pump operation.
