Clarence Armbrust

Founder and Master Technician

Clarence founded C. Armbrust Plumbing and Heating in 1918 when indoor plumbing was still a novelty and coal fired boilers were the norm. He developed the business into the premiere plumbing and heating shop in the central DuPage county area. Clarence moved the shop to our current location in the early 1950's.

Arthur Armbrust

Owner / Plumber

Arthur, Clarence's only son, served as an apprentice plumber in the 1950's and took over the company in the mid-1960's. Arthur successfully developed his vision turning the company into a large new construction company. No job was too big for Art. High rises, schools and hundreds of homes were plumbed during Art's tenure.

David Armbrust

Owner / Plumber

David Armbrust, Art's oldest son, cut his teeth digging ditches and doing underground work for the company in the 1970's. Dave's focus was to develop the company into a business specializing in service, repair and replacement work. Dave took over the company in 1984 and completed the transition toward a service oriented company. Armbrust Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning continues to do new construction work, but our primary focus is on repair, retrofit and replacement services.

Richard Armbrust

Owner / Plumber

Rich, Arthur's middle son, began working for the shop while he attended college in 1982. Like those who preceded him, Rich has dug ditches, rodded sewers and performed every facet of plumbing work imaginable. Rich took on the role of estimator / superintendent in the early 1990's and took over the business in 1999. Rich has modernized and updated the business and its services while maintaining the ethics and vision that has earned the company the reputation of excellence that it prides itself on today.

Patrick Armbrust

Plumber / Diagnostician

Patrick is Rich's oldest son. He began his plumbing apprenticeship here after high school and has developed into a knowledgeable, skilled technician. Patrick's passion is the evolving technology of plumbing and heating and air conditioning. The Armbrust work ethic and excellent communication skills are clearly part of Pat's composition.
